Support: Andrew “Cosi” Costello will support HeartKids SA when he visits Whyalla this month and plays a part in a fishing competition. With South Aussie with Cosi set to showcase Whyalla on Saturday, May 24, residents are being encouraged to come and participate in a family fishing challenge to raise money for HeartKids SA.
Whyalla News previously stated that while Andrew ‘Cosi’ Costello was here there would be a free family fishing challenge, however the challenge will only be free for people staying in the Foreshore Discovery Holiday Park.
For those interested in taking part and not staying in the park, the cost will be $10 for adults and $5 for kids, or $25 for a family pass (two adults and two kids).
All funds received from the fishing challenge will be donated directly to the HeartKids SA charity.
Foreshore Discovery Holiday Park manager Simon Halliburton said anyone wanting to get on TV with Cosi should come down to the park.
“We’re looking forward to showing what Whyalla has and show our park off and where it’s located,” Mr Halliburton said.
After the fishing competition there will also be a barbecue with Cosi for a gold coin donation.
