The 40 works comprising landscapes and seascapes with some wildlife portray a cross section of members’ interests and talents.

Prints may be bought from The Shire Amateur Photographers Society members.

Society co-ordinator Greg Ford said the group was unique in motivating amateur photographers in the region to take part.

“The society slogan is ‘Our aim is not to compete against each other, rather, to learn from each other’, ” Mr Ford said.

The exhibition at Central Gallery, near the library, will be open from 7am to 11pm until Saturday May 31 at Cronulla Central.

Society meetings are held at the United Services Club Sutherland at 7pm on the first Thursday of the month.
