Andy Jones had children up and dancing when the author and entertainer visited the library recently.
ANDY Jones, children’s author and entertainer, visited Harden Library on Wednesday, April 16, and around 15 children attended to see firsthand why he has become so popular.
For the hour Andy performed at the library the children who attended were enthralled by Andy’s electronic music equipment and charmed by his humour. Andy’s whole performance kept the children engaged at all times and there was much laughter throughout. Andy’s music gadgetry totally intrigued the children and they all performed a wrap number with Andy.
The special mike was able to turn voices into Darth Vader and the ‘Biebometer ‘ was also used. The children were also encouraged to stand and dance to Egyptian music while making all sorts of funny faces and gestures.
The grand finale` was the Hokey Pokey, an oldie but a goodie that never gets old. The personal spin Andy put on this number had everyone laughing.
For those that were unable to attend on the day you can borrow Andy’s books, Fart-ionary and Scooterboy and Skatergirl from the library. Don’t miss Andy next time he comes to town.
